Caddo Lake is a lake of more than 10,000 hectares on the border between Texas and Louisiana that owes its name to the Caddoans or Caddo, Native Americans who lived in the area until their expulsion by the United States in the 19th century. The lake (it is actually a swamp) is full of swamp cypresses (Swamp Cypress) that form a forest within the swamp itself. Sailing through the waters of Caddo or through its forest immerses you in a truly magical and mysterious place, very mysterious.
